A WICKED GENERATION BEFORE ANOTHER YOUNG PASTOR TAKE HIS OWN LIFE BEFORE ANOTHER PASTOR QUIT THE MINISTRY BEFORE ANOTHER PASTOR COMPROMISE

Matthew 16:4-: A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them and departed.

Let’s stop setting pastors up for depression by comparing them one to another. It's wickedness

Let’s stop celebrating mediocrity in the name of success in ministry. It's wickedness

Let’s stop making our pastors look and feel like Hollywood superstars, and start looking like their master. The carpenter from Nazareth

Let’s stop making the church look like a business centre, an entertainment theatre. And start looking like what it really is, a hospital for the broken and battered

Let’s stop teaching pastors how to be business savvy, and start teaching them, how to walk with the Holy Spirit

Let's stop teaching pastors how to be Instagram quotable celebrities and start teaching them to be men of the word of God (the bible)

Let’s stop making the church a place where we only entertain goats (in the name of being relevant) Let the church of today also be a place where we feed the sheep

Let’s stop celebrating only those who are publicly successful And start celebrating commitment, loyal and faithful pastors, who in spite of the challenges of ministry are still trucking on. It's wickedness

What you think on you believe What you believe, you become

Let’s stop teaching on church growth for once And start teaching on people growth

Let’s stop placing too much emphasis on material success And start placing emphasis on human relational success

Let’s stop placing emphasis on the size of congregations And start placing emphasis on the depth of our relationship

Let’s stop teaching pastors to grow numbers And start teaching them to grow a relationship

Let’s stop comparing one Pastor with another Pastor And let’s start comparing them to Christ alone

Let’s start telling pastors that heaven does not measure them by the size of their congregation, rather Heaven measure them by the size of their hearts

Church Revitalization should not be about numbers, should not be about increasing the size of our church

True church revitalization to me, is to strengthen the existing relationship. Should be about deepening our relationship with the Holy Spirit and with one another

The end goal of every church revitalization conferences or seminars, should not be to increase in numbers, but rather to strengthen what we have and what is left
