John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that He gave is One and Only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
- Have you ever considered the price of love? Love is not free. Love costs us and others.
God loved so much that He has to give. (I'm not talking about your finances right now but that is part of it.) He gave everything.
Have and are you giving your all? Have you given till it hurts? Have you given to the point that it has changed you? Have you given to the point of letting the other person have their way? Have you given until it doesn't matter who wins? Have you given even when people resent or think you have wrong motives and you let God deal with it? Have you given to the point that what people think doesn't matter? Have you given to the point where you could see the outcome but you trusted God for the good? Have you given and didn't care if others helped? Have you given your best and didn't let other peoples opinions of your motives bother you?
Love will cost, if it's God's love. For the love of the world is based on receiving.
