Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.-: 1 Peter 5:7

Never be ashamed to go and tell God about all your troubles. He knows all about your troubles anyway.

For some reason, some Christians do not believe this. It is the cause of much discouragement in the Christian life.

We carry about ourselves burdens that we really do not have to carry.

We are hesitant to go to God and to be honest with Him, as if God does not know everything anyway.

We go about with the notion that nobody knows what we are going through, and we have to go through it by ourselves.

Somebody knows all right—a fellow sufferer that retains feelings for our pain and still remembers His tears, agonies and cries.

He is now at the right hand of the Father Almighty, sitting, crowned in glory, waiting for that great coronation day that is yet to come.

He has not forgotten the plight of humanity.
He still wears in His hands the nails of the cross.

He has not forgotten the tears and the agonies and the cries, and He knows everything about you.

When you come to Him, you come to someone who perfectly knows you, your problems and your burdens; but more than that,

He has vowed before the Father in heaven to carry those burdens for you.

Nobody knows the trouble I’ve seen, nobody knows but Jesus.

Nobody knows the trouble I’ve seen, glory Hallelujah!

Sometimes I’m up, sometimes I’m down, oh, yes, Lord,

Sometimes I’m almost to the groun’, oh, yes, Lord.

African–American Spiritual

O Lord, I sometimes feel so alone, and that nobody really cares.

But one gaze into Thy blessed face, and all my sorrows are gone.

I thank Thee for caring for me and for carrying my burdens. Amen.
